Anyone know how to save a flash animation to my local drive?
For example, If I found a short flash on a website that I'd like to save as an avatar or something, how do I save it? The only options I'm given when I right click are the Macromedia Flashplayer Options: Zoom In, Zoom Out, Play, Loop, etc.
Is there a way to do this? Thanks... ;)

you can do it if you can find the swf file, go to View and then Source in IE and search for *.swf, that will be the path to the file you need to pull, sometimes it won't qllow you to pull it so YMMV (your mileage may vary)

In your IE... go to:
Tools -> Internet Options...
Then under Temporary Internet files, click on Settings...
Then click on View files...
You should able to see the .swf files in there...

Thanks guys! I was able to locate the .swf file in the temp files.
One more question..should it be converted to a .gif to be used for something like an avatar? If so, what can I use to do it? (ok 2 questions!) Thanks alot.....
