PLEEEEEASSSE HELP!!!!!

I was trying to upload pics from my camera to my computer from my recent trip. I have a Sony Memory Stick Magic Gate w/ 256MB. There is a side A and side B. Well my side A wont give me the pics, only side B. This is whats being said on the camera,,,Format error C:13:01. I dont know how to troubleshoot it so I can retrieve my pics. I'll post up pics in media from side B but I really need side A too because ALOT of my really cool track pics are on it,,,,HELP!!! :( :( :(

can you upload directly from the camera.... instead of plugging the stick in a reader.... or are you already doing it that way?

I was uploading it from my camera, I dont have a stick reader. I cant even view the pics from that side on the camera. The error message shows. :(

If you cant view them on the camera itself and they wont download.. your data could be corrupt and the camera could be shot.. :dunno


try taking new pics see if they show on the camera if not your camera is done.. happened to me on a Nikon I had..

My camera works fine, the side A of the memory card doesnt work. I can view the pics on side B and take pics on that side but I cant get anything off of side A. I am hoping there is a way to retrieve the pics. If no one knows than I can bring it to sony tomorrow I guess.

I dont really care about the card, I just want the pics! Majority of those were from the Barber and there were some of Chritian Pfeifer on there too. Do you guys think if I bought one of those stick readers would help me retrieve it? If so than I will go and buy one right now!

I'm loading the ones I have in photobucket right now so I can post it in media. Almost done.

sounds like the card is trashed...you can try a reader...but I doubt it will help any...always eassier in the end to shove it in and cut and paste in a file.

but again....I think that cards shit.

I had a 1 gig give it up....pissed me right off.....500 pics gone...in a mere second.
