honestly, if rossi was gone, it would be a total crapshoot. it would be like the year that krjr won the championship....didn't dominate, but had just enough points to win. look at 2-7th right now.....if that was actually the fight for the championship....holy shit! what a title chase. biaggi is in second now, gibernau has been inconsistent. if he goes to ducati next year, who knows what his performances will be like. hayden still doesn't finish races in second, so we can't count on him.

unfortunately, whoever wins the title in 2007 will be known as "the guy who won the title because rossi is gone"....
