. I picked Hayden. I think if Rossi was gone now then probably Biaggi or Giberhoe :ghey But another year or 2 from now Hayden will be a force to recon with. OR pedrosa.

honestly, if rossi was gone, it would be a total crapshoot. it would be like the year that krjr won the championship....didn't dominate, but had just enough points to win. look at 2-7th right now.....if that was actually the fight for the championship....holy shit! what a title chase. biaggi is in second now, gibernau has been inconsistent. if he goes to ducati next year, who knows what his performances will be like. hayden still doesn't finish races in second, so we can't count on him.

unfortunately, whoever wins the title in 2007 will be known as "the guy who won the title because rossi is gone"....

I'd have to pick Sete even though I'm not a big fan of his. He should fair well without the Rossi hex hanging over him.
