HDD suddenly unallocated?

wtf?

using it normally, then get a message in the icon tray saying my e: drive is corrupt. wasn't even trying to run anything off the drive.

check the disk management and it's now unallocated.

steps on fixing it? i hope i didn't lose everything on the 300GB drive cause that would suck.

it's the 2ndary drive in the primary IDE channel. the main drive is a SATA.
