What are you trying to do exactly?

Just create partitions?

If so then there are free utilities out there from the drive manufactures you can use that work great.

I used Partition Magic and my hard drive took a shit, lost tons of data. So I wouldn't use that.

I've used Partition Magic quite a bit for manipulating existing partitions. Never had any problems.

....and it was...um..."free" :

Yeah mine was umm free too. May have just been bad luck. I was trying to re-allocate disk space and it hung, errored out, and everything just went to shit from there.

Change an exhisting partition I need more space on the C Drive than I initially put on there.
