Greetings from Utah, USA. My name is Joe, I'm 33, and I ride a 2002 Suzuki TL1000R. I have had several I-4's of different makes but I've really fallen in love with the twins. I've been riding for about 12 years now and have no accidents or "off's" in the process. 1 ticket actually, and it was "following too closely on the on-ramp" at 15 MPH!!! I mostly commute, but do get out and hit the twisties as often as possible. I love to talk about, work on, read about, wrench on, and really do anything that has to do with things on two wheels. Most of all, I love to ride! I have a great set of friends that ride a Superhawk, an SV1000, and a Duc Monster, so my TLR really fits right into the lineup. I don't get out and do track stuff, I'm pretty conservative, and most people wouldn't guess that when I'm not working as a quality assurance guy in aerospace, I'm out riding every chance I get. I recently had spinal surgery so it will be a while before I start my winter seasonal bike maintenance.
I have had several bikes, but the TL is by far my fave. I just love the soul of this bike. Paired with a set of CF TBR's, It really has a great personality and a healthy voice. Best of all, really, NO ONE else has one out here. Only 1 other that I know of in the state. I'm officially a fan of the twins. Here's a link to a recent lame youtube vid that demo's a quick GoPro shot sprinting up the on ramp.
If there are any other [kid safe] sportbikers here along the Wasatch front, feel free to give me a shout. [email protected]
Quick link, new with a GoPro, but enjoy for what its worth.
