Some help please?

Hi everyone, As i'm sure you can tell i'm new and all. I don't have a bike yet other than a couple dirt bikes but I would like to get a nice bike that doesn't cost too much and doesn't have to be overly powerful but gets up and goes and also gets perty decent fuel mileage. Anybody got some ideas. I have a little time before I get back from the sand box anyways but I would just kinda like to know what i'm looking for. Thanks in advance.

I like the yamaha wr250x and wr250r used they are cheap and probably familiar to your mx bikes but not really a sport bike. a enduro or motard

suzuki sv650.

and you can't go wrong with an Yamaha R6 gsxr 600, or honda cbr 600rr

Great bikes

All my guys recommended a 250 for starters. I tend to want to keep up with them when we ride so my first bike is a 2002 Suzuki SV650 S. Small, light and easy to handle. I've been learning well on her. I have a few issues with the clutch as she's touchy but other than that I love it. I'm short about 5 4, so she's a good height for me. Depends on if you have anyone helping you learn. I have a group that is working with me so I'm learning faster than on my own
