havent touched a weight in 3 weeks

thats right, just as I was getting back to good form, I switched it up. I came to the realization (again) that benching big #'s means nothing if my true physical health (cardio) sucks. 2 months ago I tried to run 2 miles, and had to stop 4 times This from a guy who (when on active duty) would run 5 miles or more easily. So, I've been focusing on the cardio. I'm up to 3 miles without stopping now, and can kick it up for the last 1/2 mile even. Sure, I've gotten a bit smaller and the strength has probably gone down some, but its all worth it. I've gotten a hole back on my belt and feel much better.

Staying is shape is such a rollercoaster ride

Good job KD. I'm up to about 1.5 miles non stop right now. My bigest limitation are my knees though. I've tried all different types of shoes, but I hurt them both in high school running track.

Don't wory about the time. Heart rate is more important, your not racing, it's for the physical fitness of it.

haha no bowstaff. No weapons but hands and feet. My friend up north fights in the cage, hes 17-2, knows tito, liddel, cotoure, etc. He might move back down here and help train.

I started lifting today and my arm is still in sooo much pain. I got fatigued soo fast when doing chest... Man taking 3 weeks off sucks.

new balance

best shoes i've ever owned. a few of my friends that tried them said their shin splints completely disappeared.

two guys here at my squadron can run the 1.5 mile fitness run in 8 minutes.....and they are absolute machines, no fat, perfect physical shape. one of them is a reservist, and races mountain bikes as a side job.

2 miles in 8 minutes.....bah.

8 mins is false. World Record for 1500m is 3:32. You do the math x2 = 7:04. But thats only 3000m.....200m shorter then 2 miles. Also you didnt add fatigue into the equation. So i doubt they can even come close to running a 2 mile in 8 mins. That means they would have to keep a pace of 2 mins constantly each half mile. The pro would run a 2 mile in high 7's.

But firehawk said they ran 1.5 miles in 8 mins. Which means they ran the 1st mile in high 5's. If you do the math they would have came in around high 10's-12 mins depending on fatigue. Also was it a real track? I go to mira mar base all the time and i know the track is way off. Some track's appear to be normal but it could make a whole lot of difference.

When I ran my half mile in 1:56, my first 400m was at a lap time of 50 secs. When i hit the 200m mark i was at 22 secs.
