Salmon = Stinky?

My mom said I should be eating salmon instead of tuna. I tried eating a salad tonight with salmon instead of tuna...barf. Anyone got any suggestions to make it less distasteful?

Salmon gets pretty fishy when its cooked and I'm a horrible cook. Your mom is telling you to eat salmon because its higher in Omega fats. Salmon is pretty expensive though, if you like tuna just stick with it.

did you try the milk thing? I do that to tilapia before cooking. I hate the super "fishy" fish taste lol

Orange roughy is another "cheap" and mild tasting fish.
Hamachi or Yellow Tail tuna is also SUPER good cooked or raw.
