Question 4-5 pieces of KFC vs. 1 plate of spaghetti with meat sauce...

For dinner...

4-5 pieces of KFC vs. 1 plate of spaghetti with meat sauce...

Which one is healthier?

What if you don't eat any skin from the KFC?

Wouldn't the spaghetti get you fat faster because of all the carbohydrate?

Or is it more to do with the way they're cooked?

One is just plain meat, and the other has a lot of carbohydrate... I'm confused here...

I would eat the KFC with the skin of. - Protein

However the deep fried oil KFC uses is sure to enter the meat.

I would buy skinless chicken drumsticks, boil it for an hour and than BBQ or bake it.

kfc has to be real fattening.. store bought and prepard chicken is the better way to go.. spaghetti is not bad as long as you are active. just remember carbs burn off before fat so if you are trying to lose weight you might not want the pasta..

to lose massive witght you may want to not eat for a week and just drink in a week 10 gallons of water and if that is not engough eat baked rice cakes and have as much permisques sex that you can have. easy way to lose 15 lbs+ in 7 days. and after that eat no pasta pizza fried chicken and ask your wife forgiveness. She might take you back cause you will no longer be a fatty and might want to try on the new you!

Spaghetti.
Pasta is actually rated lower on the glycemic index than rice is. Everything in Sphaghetti is good for you.
Noodles (may put some fat on you if you over do it but so will everything else)
Spaghetti sauce-tomatoes are a great source of anti-oxidants that protect you from cancer and aging.
Olive oil-One of the healthiest foods around (it is a fat but it also has nutrient partitioning properties: It helps "teach" the body to run more on fat so it can make you leaner in the long run)
Herbs/spices- all good for you!

KFC Chicken:
it may be lower in over all fat/carbs than spaghetti BUT.. spaghetti only has healthy fats where KFC is going to be loaded with cholesterol, sodium, not sure about the trans fatty acids. and if this isn't bad enough KFC gets there meats guaranteed from farmers who pump their birds so full of hormones its not even funny.

this isn't even a contest... Unless you're talking spaghetti O's or something that are probably rife with preservatives and crap then its even. But if you're talking spaghetti at home with good quality ingredients its a no brainer.

Thanks guys... now I get a better idea... :

Actually, I'm not trying to lose a lot of weight, I'm nowhere near overweight, lol I'm 5'7 and less than 140 lbs, how much weight you want me to lose before I look like a match-stick man? I'm just trying to get rid of the damn belly, it is getting a little bigger than I like lately...

Bfiga... you're just jealous that I was a cute baby...

Nice find!

I'm surprised that the breast has more fat than the drumstick...
