Pasta is actually rated lower on the glycemic index than rice is. Everything in Sphaghetti is good for you.
Noodles (may put some fat on you if you over do it but so will everything else)
Spaghetti sauce-tomatoes are a great source of anti-oxidants that protect you from cancer and aging.
Olive oil-One of the healthiest foods around (it is a fat but it also has nutrient partitioning properties: It helps "teach" the body to run more on fat so it can make you leaner in the long run)
Herbs/spices- all good for you!
it may be lower in over all fat/carbs than spaghetti BUT.. spaghetti only has healthy fats where KFC is going to be loaded with cholesterol, sodium, not sure about the trans fatty acids. and if this isn't bad enough KFC gets there meats guaranteed from farmers who pump their birds so full of hormones its not even funny.
this isn't even a contest... Unless you're talking spaghetti O's or something that are probably rife with preservatives and crap then its even. But if you're talking spaghetti at home with good quality ingredients its a no brainer.
