Brady Quinn

I watched football on Sunday, and they were all over Brady Quinn's ballsack because he benched 225lbs at the NFL combine 24 times. Obviously he had been training non-stop for that and other events, he is a monster for a QB.

I run, roadmarch, and lift a mere two times a week. Tonight was chest, so I wanted to see what I had on Brady Quinn.... I pushed 225lbs 18 times this from a guy who drinks and eats double whoppers. Now that 24 doesn't seem all that impressive, gimme 2 months of hard training and I'm all over that

Then again, I couldn't throw a football 75 yards

i maxed out at 220 and it took all i had! i've done that once, never again! as far as throwing a football, i can huck it for about 55 yards, but there's absolutely NO aim at all. not to mention i start to cry like a girl after i've done it about 5 times!

he's a damn good qb and has good presence on the field, but never seemed to get much credit until the draft came along. usually it becomes a matter of so many people hating nd because of their days of strong playing in the late 80s and early 90s, just like every other team after they've done well. he's a real cool guy to boot. he was always friendly when we shot the shit and never once wasted time talking about himself. class all the way!

i would say it's only a matter of time before he starts for the browns. i couldn't guarantee him as a season starter, but i would expect he'll start several this year for the mere fact that the other two don't have much going for them either.

anybody know what seattle's thinking was in picking up frye? obviously they plan on starting hasselbeck, but wallace is a damn good backup. just keeping options open down the line or what? planning on pulling a "falcons" and trading away their backup ?

I've maxed at 305 in the spring, with a personal best on 225 11 times, this is weighing in at a 167. I'm now about 160 even, so my max strength and bulk has dropped pretty good, but I'm sure I can still get 225 around 8 times.
