am i doing it right?

Hi guys, need your opinion please.
i am preparing for my first race ( after 2 months ) i am training 6 days a week which is 3 days weight lifting and 3 days running and swimming.
i am not an athlete and i gas out very very quick, i run 20 minets ( bettwean walking and runing ) then swimming 20-22 minets.
weight lifting is like this: bench press, squat, any pull exercise for the back and dead lift all 4 sets.
will this training prepare me in time for my goal?
the race normally takes 22-23 minuets.

studies have clearly shown that spending too much time sitting on a bicycle can affect your lift-off.

Best way to tune up the old body for a 20 minute race is race a bunch of hour races! I found that out when I started endurance racing in the CMRA doing hour and hour 20 min stints. Somehow the sprint races weren't all that exhausting anymore!

Hell sounds like just moving around in 125 degree weather would be enough! I suggest checking the mail or walking the dog followed by some light yard work...
