Good to hear. I've gotten lazy since I got out of the Corps, but still keep it at around 10-20 miles a week. Sometimes I'll take the dogs and go for a run up in the mountains as well. It's always fun kicking your own ass.

I dropped 20+ pounds on my last rotation. I was by no means heavy before (6'1, 215 lb), but I just got lean from all the running I did. I would hit the mile trail around the camp in the morning, and the treadmill watching TV at night. I'd be in there at 2am, and there'd be no one else around. I got down to 190, and the wife thought I was too thin!

I got to the point that I was doing 4 steady paced mile laps, and one sprint lap. I could complete the run in the mid 30's (34:51 was my best!).

Don't ask now. I gained most of the weight back....you really gotta stay up on that shit. 20 miles a week now is a .

and....New Balance! Won't ever use another shoe again!

Thats awesome you guys run I was a sprinter in highschool so I ran a lot then but from bodybuilding I have gotten away from it just from the discomfort on my joints. But once im done bodybuilding I plan on dropping down to 180 or so (lighter if I can) and I want to do an ironman event. I used to mountain bike a lot and I was on the swim team so the running woujld be my biggest obstacle... But im going to die trying.

Getting back into it. Used to run half and full marathons. Then got lazy and fat.

Need to get in shape again...
