The New 3 series coupe

On sale this summer starting off with 3 petrol engines and 1 diesel (not sure abou the US).

All the petrol engines are 6 cyl in line, the 2.5 liter with 218hp, the 3.0 liter with 272hp and the 3 liter turbo with 306hp.

The diesel is also 3.0 liters and has 231hp.

The 325i does 0-100 km/h in 7 seconds and tops out at 247 km/h.

The 330i does 0-100 km/h in 6.1 secs and tops out at the limited 250 km/h.

The 335i takes 5,5 secs to reach 100 km/h and also tops at the limited 250 km/h.

Next year the new M3 version of the coupe will arrive with the 4 liter V8 and 400+ hp.

Next week more details will be released.

eurrrgh.........I don't like the shape of the roof, I don't like how the front (from the side) looks like a copy and paste job of the TT, I don't like how the back (from the side) doesn't compliment or have the same style as the front. (It pretty much looks like they took two car designs and glued them together at the middle) Basically it looks like the bastard child of a TT, a Skoda and a Jaguar.

The BMW looks like they're losing their touch and/or their minds. :thumbdown

I like this one much more than the "normal" 3 series.

In fact, i don't like the new 3 series.
I think BMW screwed it.

thankfully I'm not the only one that recognises bad design. Only that there's nothing that says design to this one. It's mishmash job at best.
