Porsche GT2 brochure leaked
The brochure for one of the most anticipated supercars of 2007, the Porsche 911 GT2, has been leaked on a Porsche forum.
The new car, which is to the 911 turbo what the GT3 is to the Carrera S, features some of the most radical design features ever to appear on a Stuggart super car.
A new 'expansion manifold', titanium exhaust, carbon PCCB brakes, a funky launch control system and a host of customisable driver aids are just a few of the GT2's technological show pieces.
The figures this new car generates are best described as mighty.
Porsche are claiming the twin-turbocharged 3.6 litre flat-six develops 530hp at 6,500rpm and 505lb-ft of torque between 2,200rpm and 4,500rpm with a 0-60mph time of 3.6 sec and a 0-100mph sprint in a fairly spectacular 7.4 sec. Top speed is reckoned to be 204mph.
It's rear-drive only, has a six-speed manual gearbox and a claimed a kerb weight of 1,440kg.
