Setup Help ?

Okay...I figured I'd ask for some help from you more experieinces XBoxers before I run out and spend a bunch of money. My question is about how my Xbox is hooked up to the internet. Currently I have a cable modem that it being "rented" through my cable provider (comcast). It's a Motorola SB4220. I then run an ethernet cable to a hub(Linksys EFAH05W EtherFast 10/100 5-Port Workgroup Hub), then from the hub to my computer, xbox 360, and ps2.

I'd think that I would be able to fire up the xbox and get on live withough having to do anything fancy. But for some reason I have to unplug the cable modem for a few minutes and let it recycle, then I have to unplug the ethernet cord that goes to my computer, then plug in the cable modem again and THEN I can start up my Xbox 360 and get on line. I would like to be agle to leave my computer hooked up to the internet and not have to cycle my cable modem and unplug/plug a bunch of shit to play on Xbox Live. Is there something I'm missing? Are there settings I can change to allow this to work?

My computer runs Windows Media Center Edition and I'd like to be able to have it recognize the xbox and vice versa all the time.

I'm not opposed to spending money and buying the right equipment, but I don't even know what I need right now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well...now I can't get the PC and 360 to recognize each other because of the firewall. If it's not one thing...it's another!

At least I made some progress...
