Looks like M1 front, tank, airbox; R6 Sides; Honda exhaust. I honestly don't mind this rendition; it would probably grow on me, but, I hope the real '07 is different than this one. I do like the thin tail though.

i never liked the undertail either, but if they aren't doing a shorty pipe then undertail is better than regular side mounted, if you have the minor to medium getoff the pipe has a better chance to escape damage when its undertail or shorty

shorty is better for mass cetralization though, somewhere Eric Buell is smiling

I can deal with the undertail exhaust, but I won't be buying one if they have the R6 sides. They've already ruined the R6 for me, I hope the real 07 R1 doesn't follow its lead. JMO.

I believe the front upper cowl will be simliar to that pic above. The R6 just switched to it, the M1 is like it, and i believe the r1 will be like that. I hope they keep the exhaust unique like the 04-06 R1 and have two pipes. I dont like the single undertail pipe like the cbr.

I couldn't agree more. The new R6 is Fugly. Especially the front end......how they put the RAM Air BETWEEN the headlights. God that is hideous. Looked mean and stealthy before almost like a shark.....now it looks like a fuckin shark with his head split wide open. Thats just me though.

It'll have a slipper clutch and underengine stubby exhaust for sure. And typical with yamaha, it'll have dual headlights. that's all i know.
