Wished I was there...right up until I heard how hot it was.

Fuck that.

So....check this out. Yamaha drops off my bike a few weeks ago; fresh 2" crack in the CARBON FIBER on the tail section. It's clear coated carbon, so the crack is as plain as day. I send an e-mail to the Yamaha rep, takes them a week to reply, but I missed the call. I call and leave a message two weeks ago, no return phone call to date.

Got promised $500 worth of stuff, still have not seen hide nor hair of anything. No calls, no nothing.

I documented the crack when they dropped off the bike. Not a happy camper. That's a $400 tail section with about $300 worth of paint and decals on it.

the biggest question is who damaged it.

Did Yamaha themsleves pick up and deliver the bike?
Or did they contract with someone?

cause if they contracted, I hope to god yamaha stands behind it and you dont get caught in the middle of a he said-he said argument......

Cause that would be enough to drive anybody postal.....

well, you would imagine that if yamaha contracted the company to pick up the bikes and deliver them unscathed, that yamaha would be liable for any damages. most likely, if it was done in transit (really...who knows), then they should square up with me, then square up with the moving company. i'm sure that yamaha wants happy customers.

in any case, i need a return call. from someone.

i'll try again today.
