Ok, just got back from the first decent ride with the new bike. First off, WOW WOW WOW!! Tons of power, very solid, and suprisingly enough, very rideable. I kind of thought that with all the power this thing has, it would be a bitch to control. Not so at all, power is very smooth, throttle extremely responsive. The suspension is a little rough, so I need to dial it in for me. I was getting bounced all over the place (read: scrawny little fooker, about 6'1" 165). Like I already stated, very smooth power delivery, even at low RPM's in first gear. My only complaint is that is seems a little weak in the low end in any gear, but that is the Yamaha M.O. as of late. Bike is also a little bit heavy at low speeds, but once you get moving it is no problem. Very stable and planted in turns, low and high speed alike. Comes with Diablo Corsas, and they seem to be decent tires (never ridden them before). Also, I would like to get a new exhaust, as I think the stock one is ugly. Foot position is not bad, knees not extremely bent, so a longer ride would be do-able. Seat isn't bad, way better than my old R6. Overall, I love the bike, and am very happy with it. As I get mods done I will keep you all updated.
