07 R1 Headlight Protectors

Hey guys

Anyone tried those stick on headlight protectors (smoked colour)??

If so any good?

Been googling places that sell them but there few are far between

Any websites that you know of that sell them?

I have the dark smoke on my 05R1, yeah they're pretty nice.

Ok got the head light protectors on, smoked in colour, look good. Any info on how to post picts or can i email the pictures to someone here so they can post them?

You can attach pics to your posts here by clicking the 'go advanced' button under the quick reply box at the bottom of the thread, then below the post editor in the 'additional options' section click the 'manage attachments' button. That will pop up a form where you can browse for files to attach on your computer.

Ok heres my picture, Went for a ride today, the covers stayed on fine , Thanks Shags for the info on posting picts.

Will take them of at night time but a fair amount of light still gets through the covers

How do lights work at night as far as visibility compared to stock?

The light beams still come through but no where near as good without the covers.

From rocks that come of the back wheels of bloody big trucks !!

Already got the right head light chipped from flying rocks from trucks

And at $450 EACH headlight, i dont want to replace them to often!

Never had a big problem with the lights on my bikes...they might get chipped a little, but not all that much.

looks like you need to invest in a bike bra next, then.....either that, or back off the trucks.

i remember getting the first chip in my new paint.....and then the next. just had to get to chips to get over it.

That looks real sweet during the day but like you said I would recommend you take them off when driving at night. How much did those run you?
