Those pics don't convince me to be real...
I am not impressed with the bike in those pics with the exception that it's supposed to have a zx10r mill.

I'll keep my z1000 & if I ever get the need for more grunt, Muzzy makes a 998 kit for it. The other option is a superbike Mike 1050 kit... and they're only $1200-$1500 away...

I bet that thing is going to cost near 10k & it already needs a custome exhaust cause WTF is that in those pics in place of an exhaust???

If anywhere 10k... I'd buy a Triumph Speed Triple.

But the reality is that with the dismal sales of the current z1000 (you can still find new in crate 03-05 in dealers) I would be pleasantly surprised if the z's successor makes it to the U.S.

I like these bikes. Certainly in person...

The new can looks goofy, but it would get replaced anyway

My mods are ghey...

other then the pipe, beautiful.
Looks like they asked themselves how to make a pipe even uglier then the K6 GSXR1000.

Thumbs down

I think I would rather slam my penis in a car door. Then to make payments on that thing!

kawi went the wrong way with this one... the previous model had that bad attitude and style you get with the likes of the triple... the new z is more of a standard bike... longer wheelbase, tuned for more torque (usually means less hp) and too much plastic imo.

you want a bargain naked? pick up an 03-06 z1k, slap on it 636 suspension front and rear and watch out triples!!!

R.R...I like your kawi, especially in the metallic orange. Had i not bought my Speed Triple in 02, that might have been my next choice! I've owned inline 4's most of my life. The S.Triple was a great alternative! Personally...I dont like what they have done to my beloved triple either! The evolutionary process doesnt always bring universal approval. But, thats why aftermarket accessories exist. To undo what the factory has done!
