The New 07 ZX-6R

Awesome bike! I was at a dealer last week. I think I'm between that & 06/07 GSX-R750. Mostly trackdays so it's a toss up. I have to talk my way into riding one first.

Great ergos, fit & finish and easy to mod for the track.

Seems to be doing very well already on the race circuit. Did great at Daytona.

I like the way it looks in black, but I don't think I like the green. I haven't seen one in person yet so it could grow on me.

I have owned a GSXR 600, own a 03 GSXR 750, and a 05 CBR600rr. We bought an 07 ZX6R for a race bike this year and I got to take it for spin to help "break in" the motor. : I have to say that it is the best handling 600 I have ever ridden. It dives into the corners easily and has absolutly no problem transitoning the other way. Took way to little effort. Has a nice smooth power band with no low spot down in the RPM's like the R6 stock does. The ZX-6R is the 600 I would buy this year for myself (and I have never liked Kawasuckies) if I was buying one. Must say the bike is fun.

Nice!! Excellent feedback!

It looks like all of the 600's this year are top notch. It will be interesting to read Roadracing World's 600 shootout if/when they have one. Frankly I think this is one of the few times you really can't go wrong with any of them.

BTW - what's OFD stand for?

Well according to one of our shops it stands for Orally Fixated Donkeys. But it really stands for Order From Dean (the owner)

We don't have any pics yet. Our rider took it to Buttonwillow raceway today for a shakedown. Only problem is it is still in stock bodywork. Nobody has anything avialable for about 2 weeks. The bike has Superbike lines, Pazzo's, Shogun Crash Kit, and Sato Rear sets already. Oh yeah it also has a Puig Screen, chainguard, toe guard, and Hugger. :
