Question zr-7 front end

I am looking to swap out my front end for one from a 96-04 vulcan 1500. anybody got advice? I am doing this for the wider triple and front tire. Is a bike's rake in the triple at all or just the neck?

Rake can be at both the neck and the triple clamp. But I have to ask... Why would you want to down grade your suspension performance by putting a cruiser front end on your bike? I can't see how a wider front tire is gonna benefit you on the 7?
