Are you asking how to get more horsepower or speed? If your looking for more speed in general terms, gearing would be my first choice. You cold always add nos for short boosts. If your trying to add hp there are so may options out there to list. I would maybe start with a new exhaust and pc from there I would change the cams and the list could go on and on.

Really..how many times do you ever go 165 anyways? If you do it a lot then you wont be here much longer on earth. If you want your bike quicker the cheapest and easiest is a $12 front sprocket. If you want to leave the gearing alone then go with a pipe and power commander. And have it tuned by someone with a dyno. That will only give you a few horsepower and you will notice it at first but will get use to is very soon. You could spend the same money on as a pipe would. That will get you where you want to go pretty quick(trust me I have it on my R1)

My choice then would be gearing. Gearing is cheap and it will show you the results faster. On my R6 I went with 2 up on the rear and 1 down up front. With that combo it maybe added 5mph on the top end. I was going more with torque for coming out of corners quicker. Good luck

The least expensive, and quickest way to go faster on any bike is to go to a racing school and improve your skill. This is also transferable to any bike that you own in the future.
