Exclamation 2006 CBR1000RR Question

So i'm an idiot and laid my bike over in my driveway... STANDING STILL... and ended up scratching the Left Side Cover.

I was wondering, if I buy a new side cover is there anything I need to know before taking the old one off and putting the new on one? Does the seal need to be replaced as well? any problems with doing this at all?

Please advise!

Thank you!!

The side fairing is that what you scratched? I can't see a scratch in that picture.

But no just get all the clips off and it will be easy

just paint it. if not.... drain the oil get the case cover and gasket. you might need some high temp rv sealant if you have some rubber to reseal. other wise a piece of cake.
