Question Ducati Monster or Supermoto??

So, Im still looking around for a bike, I can't find anything here in NM, so I guess I will have to look further. I was thinking about buying a supermoto or a roadster, still didn't decide which one would be better for me. Im not doing a lot of miles everyday and it is at 90% in the city. I saw that monster on Ebay, it seems to be a good deal: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT
What do you guys think?? Seems to be cheap somehow, but if it is in good condition, why not. I would just have to get it shipped to Albuquerque (don't feel like riding back from Portland, 1500 miles!!!). Ive never ridden a Ducati (or a bicylinder), how does it feel? Ive heard there is a lot of torque, and that they are fun to ride, but the reliability may be an issue. Any advices here?? And I will leave the US in May, so will have to sell the bike by then, are Monster easy to sell??
One more thing since Im here, anyone here has experience with bike shipping? Who has the best prices, and what to do and not to do?
Sorry, a lot of questions, but I just want to make sure Im making the right choice.

Like you say, why not??
Monsters a good and easy bikes for fun. And if you're doing 90% in the city, then it's good for sure.
As for resale i have no idea.

Good luck on your decision.

you are only here for five more months why bother buying a bike that may not sell before you have to leave? Sure if you want to ship it home than that might be another matter.

May is the begining of the good weather so you really want to ride now when Its cold In NM?

5 months will fly by, why make it harder by buying then having to sell something. Trust me selling is harder than buying..lol

Edit
PS I might sell my yacht if you are interested

$8,500.00 invested so thats what I would like to get out of her

Adrian, stop tempting me with pictures of your yacht, I miss sailing hard enough. Well, next week I leave for two weeks to Panama, so at least I will see the ocean and will surf as much as possible.
As for the bike, I just want something to go to work and ride around, I just sold my car and has nothing left for now. And public transportation in Albuquerque is not the best. I wish I could just find a nice bike for a cheap price here

Sed,
Look into the new Aprilia Supermoto bike... that thing is a monster and im sure it would be incredible on the streets. I think it has about 70hp.. thats about what the Monster has right?? Im not positive..

But its up to you.. Ducati's are awesome bikes.

Oh and with the Aprilia, it would be a little more track friendly. YOur call though.
