Here's a recording I made when a friend picked one up. Away from the inside lights, the blips of throttle, when the beast is outside and under load, there's nothing like it, not even close.

I wanted an R7. It took 9 years, but I got one.

I will have an RR someday. Just a matter of time.

for no other reason than.....you can.

heard of a guy running one at trackdays out here already....at Cali Speedway no less. guess he was destroying people on the front strait. takes a big pocketbook (and balls) to track something like that.

sorry guys blast me if you want but if I had that thing I would not go near a track
too much temptation to rip ass on it and wad it into the gravel
street keeps me in check with the cops, minivans, and other sanity checks

this bike would definitely put the cat amongst the pigeons. Imagine this nasty sounding animal going past you and your local circuit. You'd want to stick with it just to hear it

the curves I've seen are indicating 170 crank hp with the race exhaust, mid 150's with the street one. Backed up by being motorred up a straight by 1098r's.

That said, i've been pretty biased since day 1 regarding this thing, so take it with a grain of salt.

definitely gotta go with the V4 there. I'm actually a big fan of V4's. However I'm not so much a fan of shit being priced to the moon based on prestige factor rather than performance. I've seen some pics of that motor apart. You'd think that for 70k the ports would be machined, or atleast a precision cast, zircon sand at the very least, but they show big burrs, clearly silica cast.
