Unhappy These prices are not for the feint of heart

So everyone doesn't feel so bad when they pay for their 848, 1098, 1098S, 1098R or RR in Australia, also there isn't much difference in exchange rate with the US dollar. USD$1.00 / AUD$1.05

This is what the prices (underlined) are currently in Thailand in Thai Baht from Bangkok Ducati's website.

http://www.ducatisti.co.th/financial.htm

I will show the Thai Baht conversion to Aussy dollars.

Thailand has something like 300% import duty on exotic cars. Your USD$250,000 Ferrari will set you back around USD$750,000....bloody ridiculous import duties.

Supposedly its to protect the local market. Last time I looked thailand wasn't in the Exotic car manufacturing business

ya we're down around $0.80/l now, but the oil economy is suffering 'cause of it. A bit of a double edged sword, but this is part of a diversified economy, what helps in one sector hurts another.
