ya, bogus runs. Most of the pages, but to be honest I got to page 39 or so before I was 100% sure, he changed stacks and exhaust on a Tuono, then showed the curves, it was the exact same curve +~5% torque.

I smell bullshit. that's an ooooooollllldddddddd trick, one I've seen a lot of times.

page 41 for a clear example with that SX5.5, his Tuono is fishy aswell, can't adjust cams like that without losing power somewhere.

If you set up dyno (and I am no expert) then once it is set....fucking don't touch the settings, then hopefully you will get a standard going and compare as much as you like when doing pulls. hmmm...

this is why I'm a big believer in inertia dynos, and not so much a believer in SAE standardization. Particularly against the standardization for forced induction cars.

Actually i feel a bit of an idiot, I wasn't watching for that and I should have been, skepticism is the first principle of scientific thought and I just took it on good will. I mean maybe he's not fucking people and playing with the knob, but to my eye it sure looks like it.

The required setting for a brake dyno will change day to day, is the problem, so unless the pulls are done back to back you really do need to fiddle with it. Looks to me like this is more than just recalibrating tho.

whatever, I don't need to get worked up about it, I've got enough on my plate right now with my own shit. It's coming together tho, hopefully finish out the CAD model for the lower crankcase and send it out to machining in December. Don't anybody start with the "Billet crankcases are trick yoooo!" shit, it's not done to be trick, it's done to be cheap 'cause it saves me making a mould to cast 'em. If I was doing more than a couple I'd make the mould.
