remeber my buddy Jeff I was telling you about? My instructor friend at MMI......well he has moved to Col somewhere........wont tel me any longer cuz we aint friends now since the split up of me and the wife :wackit ......anyways...he was into all that too....had a room full of choppers and planes and the dude was freaking awesome at flying that stuff........................he would constantly stal his and run it up high(on purpose)and nose dive for earth and maybe 4 foot off of ground make it recover

Where's Firehawk? Bet he'll be drooling over this..LOL! That thing was pretty damn cool. I've seen a few jet powered RC planes before but this one takes the cake. That would be fun hobby, but I'd hate to be footing the bill if I ever crashed one..

firehawk was flying.......the real thing.

i can't see the vid here at work, but i'll look when i get home.

if it's a ducted fan jet or turbine, those guys are NUTS. to fly an airplane (from the ground....needing three or four spotters in radio contact) that goes almost 200mph, costs over $20,000 to build and outfit, and having to buy a trailer to carry the damn thing isn't my idea of fun. if i'm going to spend 20K on something, i'm going to AT VERY LEAST be able to ride it.

i fly the cheapie $300 acrobatic specials. much more fun, and much less impact on the wallet.

got some pretty good pics and vids, by the way. maybe i'll start a thread later.
