Spaghetti Ride pics...didn't rain!
Here are pics of a shop ride I did today. Figured a few of you might enjoy a few of these.
This is my father-in-laws shop, in National City, Ca. He's been there for 51 years, and sells Ducati, Moto Guzzi, Norton, Vincent, you name it. For 26 years now, the October Spaghetti Ride has been a tradition. We meet at the shop at 9am for coffee, take off at 10 for the ride. We come back around noon, and the women have spaghetti and lots of food ready for us. Usually have around 15-20 riders, and 15 showed this year. Good times. Lots of family, lots of fun.
I rode tail-end charlie today, because of how shreaded my rear tire is....then it started raining! Came down real light, but it was enough to worry a bit.
My father in law has helped me to develop an appreciation for classic bikes. He raced for years, finishing 3rd in the 1960's to Mike Hailwood at a Willow Springs race. He also holds a few records at the Bonneville Salt Flats. He still has every single bike he ever owned.....
