This film is an exact remake of a famous HK movie "Infernal Affairs"...

The story is great, even Scorsese is willing to remake it... in HK, there are Part 2 and 3 already...

But never as good as Part 1...

I want to see it, But i'm broke these days. It's never less than $60 to go to a movie these days, and only slightly less for a matinee..

saw it...should have named me "the disappointed"...didn't think it was that good.

I liked the story up to the point where they wrapped it up. I can see it was trying to depart from the normal story but it just ended up making the story a lot of unrelated events that end up not making any sense.

I thought the imagery and acting was pretty good and entertaining most of the time.

Like I said before the movie didn't come together in the end and at times dragged on. I think maybe there was something lost in the translation or scenes cut to reduce the time. I also think this is a dvd rental not anything I should have gone to the theater for.

I didn't see The Departed yet, but I was thinking this would probably happens... cause it's always like that, the translation is never as good... sometimes the translation is so bad that the meaning of the phrase changed completely...

Anyway, I still want to see the US version though...
