8 Year Olds CageFighting

Do you guys agree or disagree... I agree somewhat, but I believe they should be wearing protective head gear, shin guards, head gear.. You have kids boxing at this age why shouldnt they do mma with all the right protective gear..

I know this will be a heated discussion.. but what do you guys think? Banned or allowed with correct protective gear

Training an 8 yr old to fight like this is one thing to put them in cage for me it's a bit overkill.

At that age I don't really think they have an understanding of what they are really involved in.

By that age, depending how long they been training for they have a good idea what they are doing... The thing i dont like is be able to throw elbows without any gear of some sort. Face should be protected with thicker gloves. I dont think they should be in front of a bunch of people egging them on to beat each others faces in.

i think they should have gear. there isnt anything wrong with a kid having the confidence and ability to defend himself.

Honestly, I didn't really see a problem with it. maybe they should have gear.. but I've been involved in and seen playground fights that were way more vicious than that.

Other than the kids being brain damaged by 25... I've got nothing.

Oh, except the little one got his ass kicked.

I personally don't think this is right. I don't see a problem with wrestling at that age... but MMA cage fighting is just a bit brutal for a child... IMO anyway...

I don't see a problem, I starting boxing in middle school. If the kid is truely passionate in it, and it not being pushed by the parents, then I see no problem with it.
