What do you guys drive (cars)?

Well the streamlining continues in preparation for getting my own house. I just sold my big old thugged out expedition to my friend and it will be gone next week.
I would like to get a car since Im just trying to cut back on costs of everything and its kinda pointless to have a big SUV when I steal my dads chevy HD whenever I need to pull anything.

Im thinking about those Acura TSXs or the Subaru WRXs are kinda cool. Something like an Acura though would be nice. nice and comfy and still really nice.

What price range are you looking to be in?

So many... what are you looking for in a car? Speed, Comfort, Luxury? Whats important..to you? What did you like about your expo? What did you dislike about it. Write all those things down... then start looking. Edmunds.com and CarsDirect.com are great places to look. Plus a lot of the dealerships will honor the pricing thats on them. For instance we do that. The carsdirect price is your price.. if you want something lower than that we will need to entertain an offer here in person.

I personally like speed.... of course.... I am a big van of the Volvo S60R... its a nice AWD with turbo.. 300hp stock. with the body kit from the factory its something that is much more than your everyday Civic, RSX, or WRX.... Check it out.. It might not be something you like... But we sell them here and they in my opinion are PHAT!

Personally I drive a Chevy Blazer 2 door, 1995, 4.3L V6 w/ about 120,000 miles on it. Anymore it only ever gets driven to work and back. It's taken a beating and keeps on going. I have had a few mechanical issues, but once they got worked out, its been a good little work-horse. I wouldn't reccomend getting one that old though.
If I go somewhere with the family we take the wife's car, a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am, 4 door, 3.4L V6. It's not a bad little car, plenty of get up and go for a family car, good trunk space, decent sound system for factory. It's comfortable too, I drove cross country in it once w/ no complaints, and I'll be doing it again soon . I think the new G6 took their place, but probably still pretty close.

I when I can drive my little nissan p/u.....inexspensive as it gets....2k and I owned her outright.....a/c and a stereo...all I needed besides the windshield and doors......I am happy enough.

note:would be a whole lot happier if the thing would pass the emissions right now....grrrr

but a thousand bucks or so and she'll be back on the road soon enough. 8)

primary use? price range?

if it were me, i'd go for a WRX wagon. STi if you want a more ricer look or going to the track/twisties but for everyday use, wagon would be choice.

i've heard the acura, at least the TL's have tranny problems. suspiciously go out around the 25k mi. mark. i'd be wary of gettin' an acura unless you can get a manual.

I've owned 2 of them and love it. The only problem I have with all Hondas is that their brakes suck. Other then that they are very reliable and good on gas.
