Hey Budha

I heard that some tornados hit Ames this weekend

Everything ok there?
Any damage in your area?

yeah, most of the damage was minimal.
the tornado was about as far from me as you can get in ames (i'm southeast and it was northwest), but a good buddy used to live in Stratford which got hit pretty hard and is only like 30 miles from me.....

My only damage was some minor damage to the bike when a good ole microburst of about 85-100mph came through and blew tha bike over onto the side.

Still looking it over to see if it's more than a minor scuff on the mid and a bar end slider....

so far nothing else, but then again it's snowed today (and my bike is still outside since it was 70 last week and weekend..) so i have not had a chance to really go over it....

good thing God likes me.....

Well the good news is that the damage is limited to a scratched right side mid, aznd a snapped off right side bar end slider.....

not scratches anywhere else, and no dents in the tank.
Whew!

So now i get to decide if i really do want to order up the carbon fairings....or just buy a new mid.....


i wonder how Mr. IRS is gonna treat me this year.......
