Unhappy Merry F****** Christmas

Just back from the hospital. The twins are admitted and need to stay there because of a rotavirus infection.

They are both on IV's as they keep vomiting all the time.

Probably be in the hospital the whole year end period. :storm:storm:storm:storm

Life sucks.

just looked up what rotavirus was.. and it said they should be fine in a couple days so ya end of year but the IV's are probably just to keep them hydrated.. They'll be fine bro, they'll be home and you will be not sleeping and feeding babies in no time again..

It's never easy when the little ones are sick, especially when they're too little to tell you what's wrong. I feel for you bro.
I hope they get over this quickly, and back to their old selves. You guys can pick up Christmas in a few days where you left off.

Yeah man..I know but it just sucks to be in the hospital again knowing what we went through the last couple of years with daughter #1...

Seems every time I take a bit of time off from work we end up spending all my holidays in the ^%*^$% hospital. Quite frankly I can honestly not remember the last time I had time off and we didn't spend most of it in the hospital. That must be over 4 years ago.

I'm so sick and tired of this shit.

I know...........
My baby girl sent her first 2 years in the hospital (and i mean living there and never ever coming out), so i know how hard it is (and still is)

So, just take a deep breath and..... do what you have to do there.
And in my case it was like that too, she always had the tendency to get worse in important moments, like holidays, birthdays, etc.... and ruinned it.

What are the doctors saying?
Is your wife there?

Unhappy

They both started running a fever and now severe diarrhea has begun.

This is stage 2 of the disease. They are giving them medication to control the fever and an IV to keep them hydrated. They say that maybe if all goes well there's a chance they can come home by the weekend. Could also be longer.

They will probably be back home when my time off is over. So much for quality family time during the holiday season.
