Angels & Demons

Just finished it last night. Took 6 nights to read. I couldn't put the damn thing down. It's a great book even if you're not a big reader. Which I am not. I recommend it to you all.. Surely you won't be disappointed.

Next up... Da Vinci Code.

I started it a month or 2 back and it just didnt grab me right off the bat. I think I got over page 200, but it just wasn't keeping my interest... I'm sure I'll pick it up and finish it one of these days. I want to read the Davinci Code before the movie comes out.

I just read both of those back to back. Good stories. They were a little too incredible for me but the history given in such an easy format is nice.. You actually learn something.
Da Vinci code is pretty cool too just like Angels and Demons very similar though in that it is quite the incredible story. You'll like it.

I liked it more than the Da Vinci Code. (which I thought was ok, but had too many holes in it for me)

I hope people aren't still walking around mixing up fact and fiction.
Both books are works of fiction with some generic elements of truth to them. Just like most other books.

I'd like to read both of those books. Right now I'm about to dig into "Stranger in a Strange Land".

Yeah, but it's obvious that the authors (of the Da Vinci's Code at least) want to try and make it look factual. (not the story itself, but what's behind it).

Which makes it more interesting if you've been paying attention in class, or read a few books here and there. It's been a while since I've read either of them so I can't point out the stuff that bugged me (it's not the usual stuff that normally gets picked on).

I think it's because he (Dan Brown) has been using elements of the truth you sort of get lured into believing that everything is factual.
