I passed on the DVD recorder and stuck with a tape (DV) device. Small and much more compact, same quality and I think longer record time. I forget what else...

still nice tho, but if you like to edit your movies and then burn to DVD I dont see why you would need this device

No good for use on the bike, disk will jump and scratch, same problem with the HDD recorders, stick with tape if you ever want to record from the bike!:jimmie
