go get separate dental insurance....

most will cover braces at at least 50% for about $50.00 a month....

Try Delta Dental

Never been to Mexico, but are you sure it's the same quality of work?

Not sure if I would risk on anything related to medical...

KD, that sucks man

But does she really need it?
I think that most times it's just the dentits wanting to ear more money.
C'mon....... some years ago they only put braces if you had a serious problem with your teeth, but now almost every kid that goes to a dentist has to get braces..........

If she really needs it, try what budha said.

I have Detla and they suck. I had a "permanent" retainer in from when I had my braces (a wire glued to the back of my teeth) and one end came off and cut the crap out of my tongue. I had to get the wire removed and Delta wouldn't cover the cost....pre-existing condition

I'd check around. I just got a quote of $4K for my son and that was the Invisiline type. Those generally run about $1000 more. One of my programmers just got a set put on and his are "only" going to cost $3.5K.
