Yea, Im buying it from an American I know over here.. I've already test drove it and all.. Just have to get the financial shit inorder..

Cant wait..

Heres a picture of it in front of his place.. Its a shitty picture because he shrank it to list it online..

I'm no mechanic, so no flaming me for this post, but

When we moved to Germany in 90 my dad had his 79 Vette shipped over thinking the autobahns would be like a playground for it. He learned real fast that American muscle cars are geared a lot different than European cars. There he was doing 120 thinking he was the shit when he gets passed by....I shit you not....a car full of nuns in a Volkwagen... Wasn't too long after that, that he decided to sell it and buy a Mercedes. Wasn't all bad though...he ended up selling it to a German and got 3x what he had paid for it in the states.

Like I said, that was an older model Vette too. Not sure about the gearing on the newer ones. But American cars seem to be geared for American highway speeds, not the sustained high speeds that European cars are meant to maintain for long distances.
