eight minutes is relatively short with the music i generally listen to

the new album is, gasp, predictable... which is not something you'd honestly say about earlier tool releases

prejudices are what fools use for reason

Predictable? How the fuck? Rosetta Stone and Pot and others sound nothing like it.

It's not a bad album, but I was disappointed (1st time tool has let me down)

I know these songs are new, but they sould like they could have been recorded during the lateralus sessions and not put on the CD.

The tone is identical to lateralus, and the feel of the songs are very similar as well.

OK...from an old guy that likes to listen to all kinds of music....

I've never heard of these guys until recently and I've seen them come up on a couple forums. If I were going to get a couple CDs from them, what would you guys recommend? I have almost 80Gigs on my music server, but nothing from these guys. It's time to expand the collection.

get either this new one, or lateralus.

They are both good but they sound the same

Opiate is good and Aenima is a must have.

and....if you want a little slower version of tool, be sure to check out the band 'a perfect circle'. same lead singer, and mer de noms (their first LP) was AWESOME.
