Tonight I snapped

All of you know that I recently lost my grandfather not even a week ago. Well tonight a so called friend named Andy made a stupid remark about my grandfather. It obviously made me snap and it took many guys to hold me down..... Someone close to you who took care of you since you were born till 22 years later and someone says some stupid shit about him.....

What crushed me tonight was that my other so called close friend Jerry threw me outta his house cus of this. he was like who gives a fuck about your grandfather I lost mine a while ago....... It was a dagger in my back when he said that shit, I couldn't believe what was said to me and the fact he threw me out of his house over some fuck face who was talking shit and I was standing up for my own blood....

I learned a valuable lesson tonight of who your real friends are.....

I am sooo heated..... my eyes are shot red and my heart is broken.... I losted a loved one this week and people just run their mouths and wont stand up to me...

That's pretty typical....

I lost my Grandfather years ago, and still think about him every day....

What you just discovered, is a person (or persons) who were not lucky enough to have a true relationship with their relatives.
To them, their gramdfather was just the father of their father/mother.

To you, and I, he was a person who you could spend time talking with. Wh owould teach you, who was a friend.

Just remember, you lost a great friend in your grandfather...

They lost the chance to ever have that......

It's the shittiest times when you really need a true friend. I've learned that talk is cheap no matter how long you've known someone. In my circle of friends, i'm starting to think i'm the only one who'll go out of their way for a friend. Take care of yourself hellbound because your "friends" might not.

Hellbound -
I am SOOOOO sorry that you had to go through that, and I completely understand your reaction. Sadly, it sometimes takes a tragedy to find out who your true friends really are. Believe me, those that said such callous and heartless things to you were not real friends to begin with.

I am always around if you ever feel like talking about your grandfather. I'd love to hear about him.

Thoughts are with you,
Lori

I've done some freind trimming myself recently for those same reasons. I feel for you dude, family is the #1 important thing in mylife. I just don't understand people who don't have compassion for those of us who have lost..hell, compassion in general...

Its times like this when true values of people come out.

Blowing up over the ordeal says something about yourself, just as the other guys actions says something about them.

Friends are just that friends...some people expect to much or to little but all in all its how you treat each other over time that shows the true nature. Put it all in perspective and time is the only thing that matters. No matter how big of an idiot someone can be in the momemnt, time is the thing that shows a persons true colors in the big picture.

Short term idiot behavior is painful and shows what people are truely capable of but in the overall picture of life a few speed bumps doesnt ruin the ride.

With friends like that you don't need enemies. Losing family is the hardest part in life.

I lost my grandmother a few months ago, actually she really wasn't a blood relative at all. She was the wife of my mom's 1st Sergeant when mom was in the Army.

But she and her family became our family and one of the best people I know.

I share in your loss and understand the pain.

Keep your loving memories with you always, people can never take that from you, no matter how "human" they can be.

Much love to you, Sara
