I'm beat...

Spent the last 2 days working on our piece of land we bought to build the new house on.

Had to take out 25 trees and level the land again after that, dig a new ramp to be able to get on the land, saw the trees to pieces, remove some fencing that was there...so that everything would be ready for start of construction...

Very happy a buddy of mine came to the rescue with a nice piece of Caterpillar equipment... My back is completely fooked now, and everything hurts... Swinging the chainsaw around for 2 days and dragging trees and branches was a bit too much... Guess I'm not 25 anymore

My oldes daughter did have a great time though when she was asked by my buddy if she wanted to get in the machine...

I bet she had an awesome time! lol I know what you mean about clearing land. When I was building houses we cleared the land ourselves...no heavy equipment involved. Cut them down, chopped them up hauled them into piles all by hand (w/ chainsaws of course) That was some back-breaking work...

You're buddy must have some $$...that Cat looks pretty new, and those things don't come cheap.

The problem here in Belgium is that all equipment is VERY expensive. This "small" machine in Belgium costs about 135.000 .
So that's 35% more expensive then in the US.

Eventhough these machines are built in the largest Caterpillar plant of the world, in Gosselies Belgium. :laugh
So shipping costs are not an issue.

We pay the most taxes, and we buy very expensive.

Isn't something wrong??? :gun
