Bought a Taco...

(Okay, okay...it's a TACOma)

Going to go and pick it up tomorrow...

Tired of my Ford Edge being too high in the air to get my bike in it by myself...

Besides, I am a sports car guy at heart....former Porsche, BMW's, Lotus, etc...

X-Runner in blue....3" lower bed than the Edge...

6 speed manual - Hauls ass...but tires are $1,000 a set VR rated...

I'm not a huge Toyota fan, but that looks pretty sweet. Does it come in a stepside model?

The X-Runner only comes in one model and three colors...that's it...the only option is $2,000 TRD brakes...

It is designed for the truck racing crowd image...lowered, sway bars, VR tires, 18" rims, gas shocks, 6 speed...and the body kit...

I got it for $1,000 below invoice and think it is the only blue one in so Cal...none of the dealers have any of these...very scarce...

I gotta' drive an hour and a half tomorrow to get it...

So friggin easy...

The new Tacoma X-Runner is the BOMB!!!!

It is amazing what a 3" lower bed can do to make it easy to ride the bike up the ramps into the bed...

Even this 60 year old arthritic old guy can load a sportbike into a pick up bed...

And the Baxley chock is the bomb....just ride into lock, secure the latch, and run the tie downs forward....that is all there is to it...

Cool truck! I'm a huge toyota fan. I wish Toyota would build a bike. They have the resources they could be a major player.

seeing as they own 24% of Yamaha, they'd kinda be stepping on their own toes.
