Cool YANG (Yet Another New Gun)

Yay... My new Glock 34 is finally finished. Had some work done to it before competing in IPSC unlimited class with it. It has:
  • Carver mount
  • SJC Magwell
  • C-More Slideride scope
  • SJC Slideracker
  • Glockmeister Tungsten
  • Glockmeister 13lb recoil spring
  • Glock +2 magazines
  • Ejection port lowered .1 inch
Still to do is put in a competition trigger with reduced travel and weight...

This thing is soooo accurate and lots of fun at the range...

Couple of pics, first the new Glock 34 solo, and then meet the family

BTW DJ - these are the goodies that got here with your help Thanks again

LOL....no I don't need all that stuff to shoot straight... I just need it to shoot straight FAST

Went on my IPSC initiation course tonight and I can't remember when I last had SO much fun :gun

Just shooting at targets has it's charm, but IPSC is so much more dynamic and fun. Holstering, drawing, running, ducking, obstacles... I love this sport

And of course....if someday some lowlife decides he wants to rob my house, I'll be absolutely ready...

My buddy PieterQ and I even got our carry permits, which is no mean feat here in pu**y a** Belgium. Here in Belgium, only criminals can have guns. I hate this country. If it weren't for the wife and kids I would have been in the States already (North Carolina). I got a job offer there with Green Card and relocation services and everything, not to mention the fact I'd be making three times what I make in Belgium... Ahhhh married life, kids, family and commitments...

Guess I am just an American trapped in a Belgian body

I love the US.

I was looking at the XD when I got my Glock 34. The XD is a GREAT gun, but spare parts are hard to get in Belgium, so I decided to go with the Glock. For CC, the XD40 is perfect. It has ample stopping power in a compact form factor.

I'm sure you'll be very happy with it.

And Beavis....when it comes to protecting your family, it's a great home defense weapon. Good choice !

Be sure to post up some pics when you get it !
