Digital Camera Suggestions

I have a Sony DSC-T1 which I love beacuse it's small & thin with a big screen, but the auto focus is shot so time to replace.

What's decent for under $300 that's similar and where's a good place ot buy online? Seems like there's a lot of shady east coast places I wouldn't trust...

Friends and family have had great luck with Cannon. My wife has an Powershot A95 and it works great for a pocket camera.

Check out some Panasonic Lumix series...

The FX01 and the new FX3 is in your price range and the size you're looking for... MSRP is like $300, but I'm sure you can find it cheaper in stores and eBay... I saw both of these on eBay for under $300...

Personally I like the FX01, cause it's the world's smallest camera with a 28mm wide-angle lens...
(35mm equivalent at wide angle)

You can also pay $50-$100 more for the new FX50 or FX07... same wide-angle lens as FX01, except they're 7.2 Megapixel, and 3.0" LCD for the FX50...

http://panasonic.co.jp/pavc/global/l..._07/index.html

What's so special with them is that they come with Leica lenses, they're awesome lenses... you can actually buy cameras directly made by Leica, but they're more expensive than the Panasonic ones for the same spec...

Few of my friends has the Lumix series and they take very nice pics...

If you're Sony fan like me, have a look at the Cybershot P200 7.1 megapixel. Good price and excellent shots.
