civil or manufacturing will do aswell I think. I missed a blueprinting class and need to go over some notation stuff with somebody who knows their shit.

I'm sure there's engineering forums, but I'm not inclined to look for 'em, there's not any for the kind of stuff I'm into and the vague shit I can usually get an answer real fast from friends in the industry.

rinn, what's the triangle with the tail? I'm pretty sure it's something to do with surface finish of the part, dunno what tho.

If i was at work i could help you out in a heart beat. I work at an engineering firm. I am a EE myself....well student EE but there are tons of Mech. Engineers around. What type of drawing is it AutoCAD (.dwg) or Microstation (.dgn) i might be able to remote access my manual at work from home.

naaa, it's cool, I found it.

it was a drawing that the bastard handed out and wanted us to duplicate. I found it in inventor tho it means "finished surface" which is about the vaguest crock of shit I've ever heard in my life. ANY surface, is finished, period, whether it was rolled, cast, machined, glass etched, they where all finished in SOME way, so wtf....

does it show that I'm abit grouchy about that class?
