LOL ok I'm going to misinterpret this the right way and provide some pics from out and about. Some of these go back to the summer of 2001 and I apologise for the bad image quality where it may occur.:

Narvik (click here for map) where I was born and grew up

Trondheim: (google earth map just zoom in)
(Munkholmen, Tyholt it looks kinda flat but in fact it's on top of a hill and then from the top of a small tower where there's a restaurant that slowly moves around so you get a 360 view)

one of my bike routesit was a rainy day)

Done with the pics. There are many pretty places there. What is the oldest head stone in that cemetery? The triumph store, and some beautiful castles. Very nice area. Thanks for sharing.

I have no idea, since Trondheim as a city (former name was Nidaros) is over 1000 years old the cemetary has been "recycled" quite a bit over the years. Though there are kings and important people buried inside the cathedral (and around the entire city for that matter, and yes this includes various vikings)

The only reason I took pictures of the tombstones is because I just think it's interesting that there's a Celtic cross there.

I love the history of this city, everywhere you look more or less there's something of historic importance of some kind.

I like this one. May be a dumb question, but have you been there?

I want to see it for myself someday.

Yeah it's along the highway, E6, going south so pretty often actually, it's a great place to go fishing too, just beware of the current
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...t=h&iwloc=addr

You can sort of make out the bridge there it's on the reverse side of the road marked 827, basically the highway is the E6. It's hella inconvenient as a highway but pretty neat if you're exploring. northern Norway can brilliant for car vacations that you can combine with various forms of activities.

On a related note, occationally various branches of the U.S armed forces are sent up north to get "stuff" or play war with other members of NATO so if you're part of this, : and they do seem to get some time off I definately reccomend going on a short roadtrip or bring a camera going to various stroage fascilities as they're located in pretty scenic areas.:

It's 1392 meters and has the steepest granite wall in northern Europe apprently, the funny thing about that picture is that the peak is usually covered in a cloud, often a tiny cloud when it's otherwise blue skies.

Huzzah I get to unload useless trivia :
