new taxes

you might think this i a waste of time to read but read it to the end.

Tax his land,
Tax his bed,
Tax the table
Where he's fed.

Tax his tractor,
tax his mule,
Teach him taxes
are the rule.

Tax his cow,
Tax his goat,
Tax his pants,
Tax his coat.

Tax his ties,
Tax his shirt,
Tax his work,
Tax his dirt.

Tax his tobacco,
Tax his drink,
Tax him if he
Tries to think.

Tax his cigars,
Tax his wine,
If he cries, then
Tax his whine.

Tax his car,
Tax his gas,
Find other ways
To tax his ass

Tax all he has,
then let him know
you won't be done
till he has no dough.

When he screams,
Then tax him more,
Tax him till
he's good and sore.

Then tax his coffin,
Tax his grave,
Tax the sod in
Which he's laid.

Put these words
upon his tomb,
"Taxes drove me to my doom..."

When he's gone,
Do not relax,
Time to apply
inheritance tax.

Having spent first 25 years of my life in the Soviet Union, I can give you the classic Carl Marx's explanation, but his economic theory is still taboo here. In a nutshell the socialistic shift in Western economies is caused by increased productivity. Don't get me wrong, socialism (taxation/wellfare) stinks, but no one forced it here; it grew naturally.

Too many hands in the cookie jar. Nevada has no state tax, and they have plenty of money...Now ofcourse the casino's do contribute money to the state, so that is a major source of income there..
